Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoosterOS website, apps, dashboards, APIs, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Services

RoosterOS provides a white-label software platform for mobile security trailer operators. RoosterOS is software only — it is not a monitoring, alarm, guard, or emergency-response service.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be 18+ and able to enter contracts.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials.
• You must enable two-factor authentication when prompted.

3. Subscriptions, Fees & Taxes

• Fees are billed via Stripe on the cadence shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes.

4. Acceptable Use

You will not: reverse-engineer the Services; resell access without authorization; upload unlawful content; record people where prohibited; bypass security; or use the Services to violate any law (including wiretap, BIPA, and privacy laws).

5. Your Content & Data

You retain ownership of video, recordings, and other content you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate the Services. You represent you have the right to record and upload it.

6. Just-In-Time Support Access

Staff cannot view your cameras or recordings unless you enable the "Give RoosterOS Access" toggle. Access auto-expires within 24 hours and is logged.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ROOSTEROS DOES NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION; DOES NOT PROMISE THAT CAMERAS WILL RECORD, ALERTS WILL DELIVER, OR THAT THEFT, DAMAGE, OR INJURY WILL BE PREVENTED OR DETECTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOSTEROS, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) US$100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

ROOSTEROS IS NOT LIABLE FOR THEFT, LOSS, OR DAMAGE TO TRAILERS, CARGO, EQUIPMENT, OR PEOPLE. SECURE YOUR PROPERTY WITH APPROPRIATE INSURANCE.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless RoosterOS from claims arising from your Customer Data, your end users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate the Services for breach, non-payment, or risk to the platform. You may cancel at any time from billing settings.

11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of a recognized arbitration body in the venue specified in your order form. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may bring a small-claims action where eligible.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State specified in your order form, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here and the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use means acceptance.
